Reframing Today Restores Tomorrow

“The purposes of a person's heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out.”

I count it as an honor to work with the issues of a person’s life. My passion is helping individuals, families, and couples get insight into their own lives in a way that brings hope, healing and restoration.

You know your story better than anyone else.

I can’t make your problems go away, but I can collaborate with you and give you tools that will make the journey easier. Many times, that journey involves looking back at where you have been. Looking back into the past, however painful it may be, gives great understanding into your present circumstances and unlocks potential and purpose for your future.

ABOUT JEANETTA

I understand the courage it takes to walk into someone's office for the first time. Because of that, I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where people feel safe sharing their experiences and beginning the process of healing. My life experiences, combined with my professional training, have given me a deep sense of compassion and empathy for individuals and couples who are hurting and searching for hope.

I understand how the past can influence the present and how the future can sometimes feel uncertain. I believe hope is a powerful force, and when it feels difficult to find, I am honored to help hold that hope with you while we work toward healing and growth.

A large part of my practice focuses on trauma work with both individuals and couples. I use evidence based approaches including EMDR, Brainspotting, and the Gottman Method to help people process painful experiences, strengthen relationships, and move toward greater emotional stability. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist through EMDRIA and have completed Level Three training in Brainspotting. Through these approaches, I work with individuals and couples who have experienced complex trauma or other distressing life experiences and support them in finding relief from the impact trauma can have on daily life and relationships.

I also have extensive experience working with couples who are navigating separation or divorce and learning how to move forward in a healthier way. While the end of a relationship can be painful and complicated, it is still possible to build respectful communication and stable environments that support the wellbeing of children. I work with parents to reduce conflict, improve communication, and develop healthier co parenting relationships that allow families to move forward with greater stability and understanding.

My goal in therapy is to create a safe and compassionate space where individuals and couples feel heard, supported, and understood. Reaching out for help can feel vulnerable, but it is often the first step toward meaningful change. If for any reason I am not the right fit for you, I will gladly help connect you with someone who is.
